The
Falez Hotel has an exclusive but relaxed atmosphere and offers
hospitality round the clock, with international 5 star service. The
hotel is located in the heart of the city on a rocky promontory above
the beach of Antalya.
Accommodation
There are a total of
342 rooms in the hotel on 13 floors with 3 lifts. Standard twin rooms
include air-conditioning, radio, satellite T.V., telephone, minibar
(extra) and safe deposit box and have carpeted floor. Bathrooms include
baths and hairdryers. There is a separate floor for non-smokers and a
floor reserved for businessmen. Rooms have either mountain view or sea
view (with supplement).
Food & Beverage
There are 4
restaurants and 4 bars in the hotel. Breakfast is served in the La
Pergola Restaurant and dinner in the Falez Restaurant, both are open
buffet and have both indoor and outdoor dining capacity. The Mehtap
Club Restaurant is an a la carte restaurant situated on the 13th floor
with magnificent views of the mediterranean (with extra charge). The
Lobby Bar is open 24 hours with live piano music every evening. There
is also a Vitamin Bar at the indoor pool area. In summer season the
Summer Bar and the Pamfılya Snack Restaurant are open besıde the pool
area.
Sports & Leisure
The hotel has 2 large
outdoor pools with childrens pool and a waterslide and one indoor
pool.The Medpoint Spa Centre specialises in treatments such as Botox
and slimming and cellulite programmes as well as including a fitness
centre with whirlpool, Turkish bath and sauna with any choice of
massage from Far Eastern massage to medical rehabilitation massage. The
hotel has a shuttle service to its private beach just 400m away, with
free sunbeds, umbrellas and towel service (summer season)

Dedeman Hotel Antalya
This hotel has the advantage of 'resort' facilities, whilst being close to the city centre of Antalya. One of the best properties in the Dedeman chain.
This is a modern, tall square building with a large car park in front of the hotel. The hotel is actually located atop of the cliff face by the ocean with its own private access to the beach side.
The large rooms are well decorated in modern style with very good quality furnishings. Colour schemes are subtle and tasteful. The marbled bathrooms are very well maintained.
The main restaurant is very well decorated in darker colours. An excellent international buffet is served, along with an impressive selection of Turkish specialties.
The very large lobby is well decorated in a modern contempary style with a large raised seating area where light snacks and refreshments are served throughout the day. The long reception and concierge is to the right of the entrance.
The Dedeman is located between Antalya centre and Lara and is within easy access of the city centre and the Antalya coast.

Selcuk Artemis
|
.The Artemis temple held the statue of this goddess, that had fallen from the sky and thus could not be t0ouched. It was of dark wood and each morning a curtain would be drawn that had hidden the goddess during the night, so she could see what gifts had been brought by her visitors. The temple was one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The great temple was built by Croesus, king of Lydia, in about 550 BC and was rebuilt after being burned by a madman named Herostratus in 356 BC. The Artemesium was famous not only for its great size (over 350 by 180 feet [about 110 by 55 m]) but also for the magnificent works of art that adorned it. The temple was destroyed by invading Goths in AD 262 and was never rebuilt. Little remains of the temple (though there are many fragments, especially of sculptured columns, in the British Museum), but excavation has revealed traces of both Croesus' and the 4th-century temple and of three earlier, smaller ones
